Chello Dahlings,
Seems the
month of
May
has found
me
behind
the
eight
ball,
lol!
Alas, a
May
newsletter
twas not
to be!
But we
had a
fantastic
time
playing
the
Beltaine
festival
on May
2nd,
especially
with
Tracy
Hamilton
sitting
in with
us!
Thanks
Tracy!!
I also
just
want to
mention
that
although
I
enjoyed
my
annual
visit to
this
Beltaine
festival,
it was
also a
sad
occassion
with the
passing
of it's
collaborator,
Nancy
Venus.
She was
and will
always
be
remembered
as a
Pillar
of our
Pagan
community.
I
definitely
felt
that she
was with
us, and
I know
she
always
will be.
XO
As
Memorial
Day
weekend
is
approaching quickly
... it's
Beach
Hut time
again
folks!
Whew!
How'd
that
happen
so
fast?!
Not that
I'm
complaining
- I LOVE
the
beach
hut gigs
with
the Aqua
Girls
and
Lobster
Boy,
who, by
the way,
have a
lot of
new
music
coming
your
way.
That all
begins
on
Memorial
Day
weekend
- Sunday
around
4pm.
Can't
wait!
The
next
ORIGINAL
VOICES
at
the
Vail
is
set
for
Thursday,
June
17th,
with
a
featured
performancy
by
JACK'S
WATERFALL
on
the
main
stage.
Jack
has
put
in a
personal
request
that Trina
& I
sit
in
with
him
-
very
sweet
of
him!
And
of
course
we
are
looking
foward
to
that.
I'm
amazed
and
so
proud
of
the
progress
OVaV
has
made.
We
have
an
amazing
group
of
volunteers,
open
mikers
and
guests. I'm
especially
pleased
that
ScottE
is
now
running
the
2nd
acoustic
stage
downstairs,
and
he
has
Jesse
of
Red
Room
Studios
available
for
recording
the
perfomances.
And
upstairs
we
are
now
broadcasting
live
with
Franky
Hardtimes on
Cyber-fm
internet
radio,
which
has
a
massive
amount
of
listeners!
I
also
just
want
to
send
out
a
HUGE
thank
you
to
last
month's
feature:
E3,
who
were
unbelievable!
Hope
to
see
them
again
soon!
The completion
of the
new CD,
"Vampire
Kiss" has
been on
hold
since I
took a
week
long
trip out
to
California
and then
had 2
birthday
parties
to throw
for my
kids,
both
spring
babies!
I had a
great
time at
Venice
Beach
with my
old
friend
and
collaborator
on "You
& Eye"
Josh
Bley.
But I'll
be
heading
back to
RPR
Records
this
week to
continue
mixing &
mastering
the last
few
tracks
with my
buddy
Stephen
Palmer. Then
it'll be
release
time,
baby!! I
can not
wait!!!
It's
been a
long
time
coming,
but a
wonderful
journey.
And
speaking
of
CD
releases,
I've
decided
to
completely
embrace
the
independant
release
concept
and
have
launched
my
label:
Ceridwen
Records.
I've
already
been
an 'indie'
for
many
years
now,
I'm
really
just
giving
my
label
an
'official'
name.
And
I
have
to
admit,
unifying
all
of
my
past
&
present
projects
under
one
label
has
been
a
retrospective
and
grounding
experience.
With
all
that
said
;)
Thanks
again
for
taking
the
time
to
read
my
little
update.
Hope
you
all
enjoy
the
beautiful
weather
that
is
making
all
the
leaves
and
flowers
burst
into
life
here
on the
eastern
side
of
the U.S.
Hope
to
see
you
soon!
